Patricia Allison

Patricia Allison has passionately preached the gospel of sustainability for over twenty years, practicing and teaching organic gardening and child-raising, off-grid living, grass-roots politics, consensus decision-making, and homegrown spirituality. In 1990, she found an integration and synthesis of her passions in deep ecology and Permaculture. She has taught Permaculture throughout the United States and Mexico, and has facilitated Dances of Universal Peace, prayer lodges, and local and continental Bioregional Congresses. She is a mother and grandmother who makes her home at Earthaven Ecovillage near Black Mountain, NC.
