The U.S. Interior Department has recently estimated that it will take an unprecedented six months for GOM (Gulf of Mexico) production to return to normal.
Journalist Kellia Ramares looked at conditions in the gulf for Global Public Media and wondered if the six-month estimate was, in fact, optimistic.
